Hello! Hello!
A mid-life crisis blog and journal about DIY Home & Self Improvement.
Okay, mid-life crisis maybe a bit extreme – mostly…
Our story.
Some “first things first” about this blog you have found in our little corner of cyberspace.
This blog isn’t about trying to find a way to quit our day jobs. We love what we do and are happily successful. We aren’t trying to find ourselves. We did that a long time ago. Also, we are not trying to become any form of famous.
We each have the joy of being married to our best friend and we have five wonderful children who are on the way up, or out, of the house. Our lives have been richly blessed, even when things were tough.
So Why?
This blog is about pushing ourselves to further explore our creativity, learn – or try – new things, and make some great memories. We enjoy working on projects together and the sense of accomplishment afterwards. Also, it helps to change up our day to day. We hope it inspires you to do some projects too (on your home or on yourself)!
If you would like to peek into our lives during this experience, we are happy to share what we learn along the way with you! Feel free to sign up for updates to the blog.
We are low pressure, but personally driven, type of folks. We love the feeling a good day’s work brings to the heart and mind.
So welcome and hello! We look forward to sharing some of our journeys with you.
~Bryan & Kristen

40 favorite quotes in Walden by Thoreau – part 1 (Economy)

Bonus Room Shutters
